delicious ramen in a nice cozy atmosphere! cool vibe and quick service! Definitely recommend

Came here with some friends right before they were closing. I got the spicy tonkotsu it came out piping hot, flavors for days, spice level was perfect and the pork was cooked perfectly. I ordered extra scallions cause I like extra scallions in my ramen, and it was very filling. Even though the bowl appeared to be small, it was a very large and hefty portion. I will go back a 1000 times

Can honestly say that if these types of places were more of what Michelin recognized restaurants were like - I'd probably seek them out more often. Didn't realize until we had sat down that this was the case. We got gyoza and pork buns: both good- but the buns were insanely good. Meat was succulent and the sauce thiccc and flavorful. The gyoza was standard. The ramen I went with the tonkotsu as usual, adding an egg. This was very very good - thinner noodles than usual. But the broth was really exceptional to me. The execution was really great and I found myself questioning the other places I've been to.

At Mr. Taka Ramen in NYC, I discovered a bowl of pure bliss--the spicy cheese ramen. It's not an exaggeration to say it's the best ramen I've ever tasted. The velvety broth, infused with fiery spices and gooey cheese, danced on my taste buds. The bao buns, pillowy and flavorful, were a delightful sidekick. But here's the clincher: more egg, please! A tad more yolk would elevate this experience to a solid 5. And let's not forget the table size--just a smidge bigger to accommodate all the goodness we're ordering. I'm already planning my next visit!

Loved the vibes! I would definitely go with the Brussels over the sweet potato fries. We got our ramen to go and it's DELISH even when it's not fresh out of the pot. Will be back to eat it there in person!

Wow this place is literally heaven! I've had a few Ramen by the LES but this one tops them all. The flavors are GREAT! I don't usually eat the pork but the way they make it here its so flavorful and perfectly charred. I chose the Spicy Miso and i think it is my new favorite! The service was great as well! John was kind and quick. I went during my break so it was nice and quiet.

Came here on a Saturday night with a big group and we were seated pretty quickly. It's very hard to find good vegan ramen places in the city and I'm happy to say that this place surpassed my expectations! The vegan spicy ramen was amazing and flavorful and noodles were cooked to perfection. The service was great too

This place has a cozy ambience with the tables close together. The food may take some time to come out. However, worth the wait! The Spicy Tonkotsu can be quite mild if you don't mix in the entire red glob of spicy sauce. The Spicy Miso Cucumber is a very tolerable spicy. The Takoyaki balls are best while warm. The small bathroom is clean and has no odd smells. Would recommend as a casual lunch/dinner date spot.

I really enjoyed Mr Taka ramen, I went right when they opened so thankfully I didn't have to wait. The food was also pretty good. The karrage had the flavor of almost a soy garlic seasoning but a little but sweeter; solid starter. The ramen was very good... but the two things that killed it for me was the heavy handed cilantro. I said no cilantro but they still gave it to me and it completely overpowers the dish. But any bite I could get without the cilantro was fantastic. Also don't get the chicken add-on - very bland.
